We eat it with mandelpotatis "kryper" (not "drypan"!), redlurk and hard bread. Yummy! And for me, sour cream as well.

Hi Auckland! Today we ate a, in Sweden, very famous delicacy called sour herring! When you eat it it’s smells like something rotten but it’s just fermented fish in a tin. Not rotten at all! It’s really nice you should try it some day! If you have a sour herring party everything smells like the sour herring the next day, the butter and cheese for example. Some people thinks that’s a good thing, they like their butter whit a hint of herring.

The day before that we had crayfish. They aren’t red when you fish them, they turn red when you boil them to death. Before you boil them you can keep them in your bathtub, as pets if you want. Like a ”Kinderägg”, three great things in one! To the crayfish you are supposed to drink snaps and beer. And because there are not so much meat on the little shellfish you end up really drunk with crayfish broth in your hair. Smells great the day after!

This crayfishes was in love, I celebrated that whit eating them both so they end up together in my belly.
